Common Conditions Buyers Include

When buyers make an offer, it often comes with conditions - and that’s completely normal. Conditions are there to protect the buyer while they do their due diligence and make sure the home is the right fit.

Some of the most common conditions include financing, where the buyer confirms their mortgage approval, and a home inspection, which allows them to better understand the home’s condition before fully committing. Condo buyers often include a status certificate review to make sure the building’s finances and rules are in good shape. In some cases, buyers may also include a condition to review documents or confirm details specific to the property.

Conditions aren’t about hesitation, they’re about confidence. Once they’re satisfied and conditions are waived or fulfilled, the deal becomes firm and both sides can move forward knowing everything has been properly reviewed.
